As the name of my company implies, the elements I highlight in my designs
were once something else, or intended for another use - thus "Washed Up"
from their original form or function. But, now, these and other items have been
recreated, redesigned, recycled and
upcycled as feature elements in my unique jewelry.
Sea glass found on the beach was probably once a bottle of wine or
household drinking glass that ended up in the ocean 50 - 100 years ago.
Driftwood was once a tree growing on the side of a cliff that
ended up in the water probably after a storm. Broken plates pieces
were once used in a household. All elements that are different
from their original purposes.
All the sea glass, beach stones,
driftwood and terracotta pieces that I use have been found "washed up"
on a variety of beaches around the world. All of the sea glass in
my jewelry is surf, sand and salt-water tumbled by the ocean and mother nature.
Other than hose-washed and sometimes drilled and wired or soldered,
the glass and stones are as found.
Every piece is unique in color, tone, and shape-
the beauty of genuine sea glass.

for the womanwho likes to be complimented
on her one-of-a-kind pieces"
