As the name implies, all the sea glass, beach stones,
shells and terracotta tile pieces that I use have been found "washed up"
on a variety of beaches around the world. All of the sea glass in
my jewelry is surf, sand and salt-water tumbled by the ocean and mother nature. Other than hose-washed and sometimes drilled and wired or soldered,
the glass and stones are as found.
Every piece is unique in color, tone, and shape-
the beauty of genuine sea glass.
As a jewelry creator, I am also the ultimate recycler.
In addition to beach finds, I use household items such as dishware,
pottery, ceramics and vintage books destined for the dustbin.
And, if I find something interesting at a yard sale, it can find a new
purpose in my jewelry as well.
These items are also "washed up" from their original purposes.
I enhance these items with wire, beads or polished stones,
turning them into interesting and unique jewelry. "All" the recycled
and upcycled items become my "gems".
